Car Park Terms & Conditions
- ANY USERS FOUND TO BE USING THE SYSTEM OUTSIDE OF THE DEVISED METHODS/CONSTRAINTS OF THE BOOKING PROCEDURE WILL BE BLACKLISTED AND FURTHER ACTION MAY BE TAKEN
- Authorised Building Users can only book a maximum of 24 hours in advance and for Business use only
- You can only park in the Unity Place Car Park if you are attending this building. You cannot park at Unity Place if you are travelling to attend another site, such as taking the train etc. You can only park overnight at Unity Place if you are attending both days to work
- You must have a Unity Place Security pass - Building Users ONLY - No visitors, children, or spouses allowed in the car park or non public areas
- The car park shutter is open between Mon – Fri 05:30hrs – 19:30hrs – outside of these hours or if the shutter is closed, contact Security via the intercom next to the shutter or contact Security 01908 349010 or use the intercom
- It is not permissible for you to book spaces for anyone other than yourself
- Should you no longer require a space, you must cancel your reservation via the Manage Booking button (if available) before your booked arrival time to avoid being marked as a "no-show"
- If you cannot cancel using this option then email your cancellation request to unity.carparkcancel.uk@sabagroup.com stating your STNW reservation number. Please cancel your booking as early as possible - before 2pm at the latest to avoid a potential "no-show"
- Vehicles and/or property are left entirely at the risk of the owner/driver and no liability will be accepted
- Electric charging of vehicles is only permitted within the spaces clearly marked EV and plugged into the PodPoint units. You are not permitted to charge your vehicle using the internal 3-Pin sockets
- You will be liable for any damage you cause to the Property
- Adhere to the 5 mph speed restrictions in all areas
- Follow the one way system at all times entering and leaving the car park, don’t take short cuts
- NO smoking including vapes within the car park
- NO tailgating or allowing others through doors is permitted into the internal building
- Park within the lines of the parking spaces
- Zebra crossings, respect the pedestrian and always give way
- In the event of any essential works/problems or required maintenance to the car park, you may be requested to move your vehicle from a particular space to facilitate this. You may also be refused entry or be requested to leave the car park entirely if any major issues/concerns arise
Blue Badge Terms & Conditions
In addition to the Car Park Terms & Conditions, the following additional conditions apply:
- Blue Badge Reservations are only valid for parking in designated Blue Badge Bays and cannot be used for parking elsewhere in the car park
- Only book a Disabled Space if you have a valid Blue Badge that is for yourself or a building occupant that you transported into the office that day
- Understand that misuse of the Blue Badge may result in your parking access being withdrawn
TAP Permit Terms & Conditions
In addition to the Car Park Terms & Conditions, the following additional conditions apply:
- Only book a TAP space if you have a valid permit
- Always book a TAP space and park in a disabled bay when displaying this permit
- Never share this permit with any other user, it’s not transferrable
- Only use this permit on the vehicles named on the front of the permit
- Return the permit to Security at the end of the agreed term
- Understand that misuse of this permit in relation to the above will result in your TAP permit / parking access being withdrawn
Breaching the Terms & Conditions will result in your parking access being withdrawn
Saba Park Services UK Limited
Saba Park Services UK Limited ['Saba'] are authorised to operate parking enforcement services in this car park/parking area for and on behalf of the landowner. References to 'we', 'us' and 'our' refer to Saba [and, where relevant, its employees and agents]. 'You' and related expressions refer to the person driving the relevant vehicle into the car park/parking area and [where relevant] other persons whose activities are subject to the terms and conditions of use.
The following charges are payable for breaching the terms and conditions of use. You agree to pay consideration in the form of a Parking Charge up to the sum of £100 to be paid within 28 days of the date of issue. This Parking Charge will be reduced to £50 if paid within 14 days of the date of issue. You will be liable for additional parking charges for each and any subsequent 24-hour period [or part thereof] that the vehicle remains in the car park/parking area in breach of the terms and conditions of use. Any subsequent enforcement action may incur additional costs that will be added to the value of the Parking Charge and for which you may be liable. For information on how to pay a Parking Charge or to make an appeal, please refer to the Parking Charge.
Saba monitors the car parking facilities and may enforce the terms and conditions of use either remotely and/or by manned solution. Vehicles and/or property are left entirely at the risk of the owner/driver and no liability will be accepted by the landowner or Saba for any loss or damage. The terms and conditions of use [including the parking tariffs] are in force 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Appealing a Parking Charge:
Any Parking Charge appeal must be made online at www.appeals.sabaparking.co.uk or in writing at the address below within 28 days of the date of issue. Appeals should be made in accordance with the terms and conditions of parking.
Disputes pertaining to the aforementioned appeal process maybe referred to the Independent Appeals Service (IAS) details of which will be supplied by Saba should an appeal be received in writing and subsequently rejected in accordance with Saba's terms and conditions of contract. Data Protection Rights:
By entering this car park/parking area, Saba will be capturing your details and recording your vehicle registration number where Automatic Number Plate Recognition [ANPR] cameras, CCTV and/or parking attendants are in use. Saba's legal basis for capturing your data is to uphold the contract and for legitimate interest. Saba process this data and any data provided by the car parking area's permit system to verify the terms and conditions of use have been complied with.
This information may be used by Saba to request the registered keeper details from the DVLA and or other sources, where necessary, for the purpose of Parking Charge enforcement. In certain circumstances, the registered keeper may be liable for charges which you incur for breaching these terms and conditions of use.
Personal data may also be shared with our trade association, collection agents, insurers, law enforcement authorities, other sources and/or solicitors for this purpose or in connection with any criminal activity.
Parking Charges may be issued to the registered keeper by post, attached to the vehicle's windscreen or handed to the driver by or on behalf of Saba, as the Creditor.
Under Data Protection Law and in relation to the data that we hold on you, you have the right to be informed, right of access, right of rectification, and right of erasure, right to object and right to restrict processing.
You may have these rights, but Saba may have the right to disagree.
